Stars and Strive, Slipping into Darkness
This piece was inspired by the toxicity of the 45th president of the United states. I was taken aback by his utterances and actions. The main thrust of the piece are the scribblings of some of these utterances coming out of this deluded and pained soul if he even has one. One could be mistaken
Taking a close look one notices that the stars that are supposed to be on the left side are on the right hand side. Also, the stripes (I call it strive) are intentionally done to be slanted indicating those once great American ideals are slipping into darkness. The re election of this president to become the 47th president really brings the whole situation full cycle. Never in the history of the United States has a leader spewed so much hatred, hypocrisy, racial and religious intolerance just to mention a few. Under his leadership the US is beginning to look ordinary amongst other powerful nations.
